During its first week of release, College Football 25 has generally been praised for its gameplay and experience. However, there has been an issue with the Team Builder mode, which allows players to create and import custom teams into the game for use in Road to Glory Mode and Dynasty Mode.

EA Sports' updates to Team Builder in College Football 25
On Tuesday, the company released a whole host of updates to resolve numerous minor errors that fans pointed out during the game's first weekend of release. The majority of these updates were focused on Dynasty Mode, one of the more popular modes that EA Sports needs to perfect. However, they did make a few changes to the Team Builder mode.
There have been two main updates for Team Builder. The first is a functional update on how to use the mode, and the second is a cosmetic update related to the brand of cleats, which are defaulted to Adidas regardless of the selected brand.
According to an EA Sports update forum post, the company has solved a problem surrounding custom images with two layers, with the second not appearing in the field. The workaround according to them:
"Add a second layer, then select a generic image, and then re-select your custom image."
How to fix the Team Builder in College Football 25
As the Team Builder is outside of the game, there are some ways that users can get it to work. The first step is to check the status of the College Football 25 server.
If the server is working fine yet there are issues with the Team Builder, here are three steps that EA has suggested to help:
- Try a different web browser.
- Disable any ad-blockers or other browser extensions.
- If using Chrome, make sure you have 3D acceleration turned on
If these steps do not work, players have been asked to reach out to EA via the official forums.
