EA Sports College Football 25 has a big surprise for Oregon Ducks fans. EA released a patch for the game on Thursday. It adds a new element of realism to the Eugene-based program. Fans can now use the Ducks ‘Generation O’ uniform in the game.
Released last month, EA Sports College Football 25 is the first video game in over a decade delivering a college football experience to gamers. The game has been an instant hit among the fans, and EA is leaving no stone unturned to please them even more. Every uniform used by Oregon in the upcoming season is now available in the game.
The Ducks released the third set of their uniforms just days ago. The white throwback design pays tribute to Pat Johnson and his touchdown catch against the Washington Huskies in 1997. The other two sets, the all-black fly era homage and the ‘Gang Green,’ were released earlier in the offseason and were already available in EA Sports College Football 25.
Fans of the sport are quite demanding and will appreciate the throwback uniforms in the game. However, the gaming giant hasn't committed to doing anything like that yet. The Ducks team is customizable, and future patches are on the way. So one never knows what they might get.
EA Sports College Football 25 breaks all records in overseas markets
College football is a passion in the United States, and the fever seems to be catching in on the rest of the world. According to reports, EA Sports College Football 25 has broken all existing records in overseas markets. It was the top-selling game in Australia and New Zealand in July.
The video game was released worldwide on Jul. 19, 11 years after EA’s last foray into college football. Fans were highly anticipated for the game, and its success shows it has met fans' expectations. EA sold over 2.2 million copies of the game's Deluxe edition three days before its release. Maybe the early access trial offered with it had something to do with those numbers.
