Since EA Sports College Football 25 made its much-anticipated release last Friday, fans have been buzzing about the game. This is the first licensed football game in over a decade, and fans can finally get their hands on the game after its return was announced in 2021.
Since its release, fans have seen several bugs and issues in the game, especially in the popular Dynasty Mode. EA Sports rolled out a new update this week to address those issues.
EA Sports College Football 25 Dynasty Mode issues and error fixes
The first update for EA Sports College Football 25 was made available for players on July 23 at 6 a.m. ET. The CFBDirect account on X provided further information about the update regarding issues in the Dynasty Mode.
The most pressing issue in Dynasty Mode is the inability to load into their league. EA Sports is confident this update will resolve this major issue. However, players have been provided a link to inform the team if the problem persists.
EA Sports also informed players it would find a solution where players could only add 20 created coaches to their dynasty instead of 32. They have implemented the first half of the fix for this issue in this update and will include the second half in future title updates.
The post also provides a workaround for this issue. Players experiencing this issue may use existing coaches within the game to fill the remaining spots after 20 created coaches have joined a dynasty.
CFBDirect also added that the title update will focus on performance updates and improvements. It didn't share specific details about which aspects of performance within the game will be improved.
What to expect in future EA Sports College Football 25 Dynasty Mode updates
EA Sports offered an insight into issues the team will target in future updates on the EA Answers HQ website. For Dynasty Mode, it shared that updates are in progress to address problems like super sim logic, modified conference rules, and recruiting.
EA Sports College Football 25 players have reported issues involving the super sim logic that involves FCS schools upsetting Power 5 schools too often. The team's goal is to adjust the super sim logic to reflect situations most likely to happen in real life.
The team mentioned that apart from modifying the super sim logic, the Top 25 polls and CFP seedings will improve, leading to more realistic Dynasty Mode results.
EA Sports will also address an issue with modified conference rules not saving after being changed. The workaround provided by the team for this issue involves re-entering the Conference Rules screen and double-checking that the settings were saved correctly.
There will also be future fixes for recruiting within Dynasty Mode on EA Sports College Football 25. These fixes include tuning to recruiting logic and an issue involving the "Ready for a Visit" prompt not appearing when a recruit meets the requirements after reaching their Top 5 stage.
