The college football world has reacted after Dr. Pepper announced the return of 'Fansville.' The commercial is set for its seventh season.
On Monday, the first episode was released and it hinted at Connor Stallions and the Michigan Wolverines' sign-stealing. Quinn Ewers also had a cameo as he will appear in two episodes, and fans reacted to the trailer.
"Even Dr. Pepper knows the last 3 years are tainted," a fan wrote.
"LETS GOOOO," a fan wrote.
College football fans seem to love the commercials and are eager to see what other episodes Dr. Pepper came up with for Season 7.
"Hope we get an updated commercial mid season reflecting Quinn Ewers not living up to the hype," a fan wrote.
"Gonna be awkward when he's benched," a fan added.
Ewers secured a NIL deal for being part of 'Fansville.'
"Look at QE just casually hanging out in fansville. What a dude," a fan added.
"Haters have to see Quinn and Texas every time NCAA 24 loads up and now they will have to see him every time a Dr Pepper commercial comes on while watching their team play," a fan wrote.
'Fansville' Season 7 will air throughout the college football season on ESPN, CBS, and FOX.
Quinn Ewers lands NIL deal for Fansville appearances
Dr. Pepper and 'Fansville' landed Texas Longhorns quarterback Quinn Ewers for a couple of episodes and he got a NIL deal for it.
Ewers said that universities make plenty off of athletes so it's only fair they also get compensation.
"I think universities make a lot of money off a lot of sports and people that play the sports," Ewers said, via CBS. "We put a lot of time and effort not only in athletics but also school and trying to manage all these things. Trying to bring in all the money we bring in, we do deserve compensation for doing that for these universities."
He was then asked about fans being critical of him for his taking part in 'Fansville' and Ewers explained that he does not pay much attention to it.
"I don't look at it as pressure," Ewers said. "I don't put my worth in wondering what people are thinking about me. And people who only take one breath at a time."
Ewers is entering his third season at Texas as he decided to return for the 2024 season instead of declaring for the NFL draft.
