Lindsay Gottlieb aiming for USC' holistic development

USC women's basketball coach Lindsay Gottlieb sets a high bar for the Trojans' development this season. With the addition of two games against Seton Hall on November 27 and Saint Louis on November 29 in Palm Desert, California, the Trojans have hit the ground running.

At a recent media session, Gottlieb discussed the mental adjustments her team will need to make.

"So a lot of my time this offseason has been studying the nuances of the right buttons to push for a group that is new and is going to have a lot of expectations placed on us," Gottlieb said.
"How do we embrace that and raise the bar and perform to that standard without losing our joy? We'll dive into that mental side of things just as much as the physical," she added.

Gone are the days when the Trojans were considered underdogs. Under Gottlieb’s reign from 2021, USC have transformed into a top contender in women's college basketball. Final Four aspirations are not a dream now, they have become a must for a USC women’s basketball program with a roster that is brimming with potential.
