Florida star Graham Mertz’s GF Alexis Loomans glams up for the “biggest nightclub in the world”

Florida quarterback Graham Mertz's girlfriend, Alexis Loomans, has been in the national spotlight over the past year. She took part in the 2023 Miss USA beauty pageant contest after winning Miss Wisconsin and came in third, finishing behind winner Noelia Voigt and runner-up Savannah Gankiewicz.

While she’s made some notable marks in the world of pageantry and modeling before 2023, the Miss USA contest took her to a whole new height entirely. Her popularity increased significantly across the United States, becoming a notable figure and sensation on social media.

In a post on her Instagram story on Sunday, Loomans posted a video of herself and social media influencer Isa Duffy getting ready for what she tagged “the biggest nightclub in the world.” She subsequently shared an aerial view of a musical concert she attended with Duffy.

Graham Mertz and Alexis Loomans appear to have been dating for close to two years. The exact time when the relationship began is publicly unknown. However, Loomans started posting pictures of two of them on her Instagram page in December 2022.

The two have been very supportive of one another since their romantic relationship started. Loomans was sighted at the Swamp on multiple occasions last season to offer her support to her man. Mertz, on the other hand, has shown significant support to the pageantry career of her girlfriend, especially through the Miss USA contest.

Graham Mertz discloses mindset ahead of the 2024 season

With the 2024 college football season fast approaching, Graham Mertz has made known the mentality at which he will be getting things done for the Gators. The quarterback won't be putting himself first in the upcoming season but his team, as he believes a win is all that matters, not personal stats.

“I think the biggest thing? Like, individual stats don’t matter. W’s matter,” Mertz said. “The reality is we didn’t have that last year. So I think, for us and every day that we walk in, we know what our record was last year and we know what everybody says about it.”

Florida finished with a 5-7 record last season, missing out on a bowl game for the first time in five years. Getting back on track is the goal of the Billy Napier-coached program next season.

Tough schedule for Florida in the upcoming season

Florida has arguably the toughest schedule in the 2024 college football season. This creates a little chance for the Gators to bounce back. However, Graham Mertz is approaching this with a solid mindset.

“All you can do is just go out there and go win every game,” Mertz said. “That needs to be the mindset. I mean that’s everybody. Every quarterback is telling their team, ‘Look, we’re going to go win every game’. But it’s how do you get everybody to buy into that and work towards that?”

Graham Mertz will be playing his final season in college football in 2024. The quarterback started his career at Wisconsin, where he spent four seasons, before transferring to Florida. He will be anticipating putting out a performance that boosts his draft stock next season.
