The Florida Gators hosted Texas A&M at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville, Florida. Senior quarterback Graham Mertz was at center for the Gators while Marcel Reeds took snaps for the visiting team in the Swamp.
The Texas A&M came into this game as a (-3.0) favorite and they have more than lived up to the expectations. A late momentum of the Gators wasn't enough as the Aggies registered a convincing 33-20 victory.

Florida Gators vs Texas A$M Game Summary
The Aggies' defense got the ball back after they forced the Gators to punt in the opening drive of the game.
Then came out Marcel Reed, who is starting in place of Conner Weigman, out with a lingering shoulder issue. The freshman quarterback impressed immediately, leading the team to redzone. However, a holding call left the visiting team with a field goal opportunity, which they cashed in, giving them a 3-0 lead.
Another defensive stop from Aggies defense finally allowed Reed to cap off the first quarter with with a 29-yard touchdown pass to tight end Theo Melin, which gave the Aggies a 10-0 lead.
Meanwhile, the Florida offense's struggle continued to start the second quarter, once again missing out on the ball. Texas A&M attempted 48-yard field goal, extending their lead to 13-0.
After DJ Lagway took a handful of snaps, Graham Mertz returned to center, but the Aggies defense remained on top, clinching the ball back. Reed again went downtown to Florida territory and rushed for a 1-yard rushing touchdown to get the Aggies up by 20-0.
Finally, the Gators completed a full drive to begin the third quarter, as a 14-yard touchdown pass by Graham Mertz to Elijhah Badger gave Florida the first seven points in the game.
In response, Marcel Reed sent a long 73-yard touchdown pass to Cyrus Allen for six quick points. Reed attempted for two points but failed. However, by the end of this drive, Texas A&M were up by 26-7. This was followed by Bryce Anderson's 45-yard interception return for a back-to-back Aggie touchdown, moving them up by 33-7.
With a minute remaining in the third quarter, the Gators find the endzone one more time as Chimere Dike gets the 7-yard touchdown pass from Lagway to cut the lead to 33-14.
The fourth quarter of the game saw only one successful drive, and it was from the Gators, who found the momentum too late in the game. Ja'Kobi Jackson reached the endzone for a 2-yard rushing touchdown.
Finally, it was Billy Napier's team that took a 33-20 loss against the Aggies.
