Former Alabama coach Nick Saban praised Elon Musk for his recent achievements. Musk is the founder of SpaceX, which develops new technology in the field of space exploration. The company made headlines this week for successfully launching and catching a rocket.
Musk, who has a net worth of $240 billion (according to celebritynetworth.com), is also the founder of Tesla and the current owner of X (formally known as Twitter). During Friday's edition of "The Pat McAfee Show," the topic of Musk came up and Saban said:
"I read his book. I have a lot of respect for what the guy has been able to do and accomplish. You think when he did it, saying, wow, that's out there. But he did it."

While the two men's achievements can not be directly compared, they can both be seen as being very successful in what they do. Nick Saban was able to take success to new heights during his coaching career. He won seven national championships, and during his seventeen years with the Alabama Crimson Tide, they were almost always in the championship conversation.
Nick Saban on Amari Cooper following Bills trade
Also in his interview on "The Pat McAfee Show," Nick Saban spoke about Amari Cooper. The wide receiver was traded this week from the Cleveland Browns to the Buffalo Bills. Copper played college football at Alabama under Nick Saban.
On his time working with Cooper, Saban said:
"I think Amari Cooper sometimes is a little bit misunderstood because he's such a quiet guy. I mean, he went through three or four years at Alabama - however long he was there - and I don't know if we ever had a conversation.
"I mean, he was never in trouble. He never came in my office. He did everything he was supposed to do. He's a great person. Went to class. Did everything you asked. Practiced hard. Did everything. But never said a word.
"Sometimes as a coach, you feel like, well this guy is not really with it. Or he's not really with us. But he is. He's a great competitor. He made a lot of plays that made huge impacts on game. I think he has the capability of doing that."
During his three years with the Crimson Tide, Cooper recorded 3,463 yards and scored 31 touchdowns, becoming a regular target for the Bama quarterbacks. He was voted the SEC Offensive Player of the Year in 2014 and won the national championship in his first season.
Cooper has continued his strong form in the NFL and should thrive in a Buffalo Bills team that could easily make a run in the playoffs this season.
