Coach Prime appears to be enjoying himself on social media following his second season at Colorado. On Tuesday, Deion Sanders hilariously trolled former NFL star Chad Johnson on X for stating his desire to return to the Cincinnati Bengals, this time as a coach.

Sanders' post left Robert Griffin in splits. The 2011 Heisman Trophy dropped four laughing emojis in response.

"See I was gonna hire u but u coaching for them streets!" Sanders responded to Johnson's post about joining the Bengals' coaching staff.

Johnson played 10 seasons with the Bengals and one year season with the New England Patriots in 2011. He earned six Pro Bowl honors during his pro career.

Johnson has often said that he plans to get into coaching. In July 2016, he briefly spent time as a guest instructor for the Cleveland Browns.

Although Johnson is currently working as an analyst, it remains to be seen if he could join Coach Prime's staff at CU. Colorado recently parted ways with defensive ends coach Vincent Dancy, who joined the Mississippi State staff.

Nonetheless, since Johnson has a history with the Bengals, he is likely to take up a role in the AFC North franchise, if given the opportunity.

Coach Prime's future at Colorado has been the subject of speculation since his sons, Shilo and Sheduer, are set to enter the 2025 NFL draft.

There have been rumors suggesting that Deion Sanders could part ways with the Buffs after his sons go pro. Some have also claimed that he might take up a coaching role in the NFL or at another top college program.

However, Sanders has often said that he plans to remain in Colorado even after his sons declare for the draft. CU hired Sanders in December 2022, and he has compiled a 13-12 record across two seasons.

Sanders signed a five-year, $29.5 million contract with the Buffs and is tied down to the team through the 2027 season.
