Former Penn State Nittany Lion defensive tackle Robert Windsor is threatening to expose the football program. Windsor played at Penn State from 2015 until 2019.

Windsor claims he has details regarding the recently adjudicated lawsuit from a former team doctor who says he clashed with head coach James Franklin. Taking to his social media, Windsor said he will expose the bad things the program did soon.

“The Penn State lawsuit, I haven’t talked about that lately. Last time I did, I said I’d post something in the end of July about it,” he said on Instagram (via BasicBluesNation). “I don’t think that’s a good idea. I think it’s better to wait until there’s more attention on Penn State football. It’s a really big deal. Some really bad things happened to a lot of athletes, including myself, and you know, the Big Ten and the NCAA were supposed to take action.
“We proved in a court of law that these things happened, and really, my goal is to spread awareness among fans. It’s really the dark side of college football and I cannot tell you how many teammates I have had reach out to me and tell me how happy they are for what I did. So, once college football kicks off, get ready for me to launch my story on Penn State, what happened, the lawsuit.”

It's unclear what information Windsor has, but off his post, he seemingly thinks what he knows could ruin the Penn State football program.

At Penn State, Windsor recorded 121 tackles and 14 sacks in four seasons and was drafted in the sixth round of the 2020 NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts. Windsor played just two games in the NFL in 2020 and recorded two tackles. He retired from the NFL, citing injuries, in 2022.

Robert Windsor says medical staff needs to be separate from schools

After his video went viral, Robert Windsor took to X to give more hints on the issue. His first complaint is the fact that the schools pay the medical staff, which he thinks shouldn't be the case.

Windsor then gave more information on when the alleged incidents took place at Penn State.

"If you weren’t apart of the team after Tim Bream got removed as the head athletic trainer, you have no opinion on this matter. That’s when things got really ugly... It’s funny because one of the hosts on the State Media Podcast was going to testify as well until they started getting paid by the university."

When Windsor will release all the details he knows is to be seen. But, it is interesting that he has been sitting on the alleged information for a long time.

Penn State is set to open its 2024 college football season against West Virginia on August 31. The Nittany Lions have notable games, against USC, Ohio State, Wisconsin, Washington and Maryland, among others.
