Georgia football injury report (Week 5): Kirby Smart's 3 weapons to miss SEC blockbuster against Alabama

The second-ranked Georgia Bulldogs go on the road to play the fourth-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET. It's the biggest game of the college football Week 5 slate.

However, going into the game, Georgia is dealing with some key injuries, and three key players have already been ruled out.

Georgia Bulldogs injury report Week 5

Georgia has three players out and four more players are on the injury report.

Roderick Robinson II, RB

Roderick Robinson II is out of the lineup with an ankle injury. The running back underwent surgery in August to repair a toe injury.

Following the surgery, Robinson II was considered week-to-week but is still out of the lineup. Robinson II was Georgia's top returning rusher with 196 yards and two touchdowns in 2023.

London Humphreys, WR

Receiver London Humphreys is also out of the lineup for Saturday due to an illness.

Humpherys is reportedly dealing with mono and is not expected to play in Week 5, according to Marc Weiszer of the Athens Banner-Herald. However, on the media call, when asked about Humphreys, Bulldogs coach Kirby Smart didn't give much of an update.

"Yeah, we'll see when the reports come out," Smart on the weekly SEC call. "We still don't have a lot of verification on some things. That's what we do the injury reports for."

Humphreys has recorded two receptions for 63 yards and a touchdown this season.

Tate Ratledge, RG

Starting right guard Tate Ratledge will not play against Alabama in Week 5 due to an ankle injury.

Ratledge suffered an injury during the second quarter of Georgia's win over Kentucky. He has since undergone TightRope surgery on his sprained left ankle and is expected to miss a handful of games.

Mykel Williams, DE

Mykel Williams is considered questionable to play in Week 5 with an ankle injury.

Williams has recorded two tackles this season.

Sacovie White, WR

Wide receiver Sacovie White is questionable to play against the Alabama Crimson Tide.

White hasn't played since September 7. In his last game, he recorded two receptions for 22 yards.

Jordan Hall, DL

Jordan Hall is questionable to play in Georgia's Week 5 game due to a leg injury.

Hall is yet to get into a game this season.

Warren Brinson, DL

Bulldogs defensive lineman Warren Brinson is probable to play against Alabama with a foot injury.

Brinson is a senior who is yet to play this season.
