Travis Hunter and the No. 23 Colorado Buffaloes lost their final game of the season 36-14 to the No. 17 BYU Cougars in the Alamo Bowl on Saturday. The Cougars dominated the Buffaloes throughout the contest and came out on top at the Alamodome in San Antonio.

Not only was it the Buffaloes' last game of the season, but it was the final college football game for two-way star Travis Hunter and quarterback Shedeur Sanders. Both players will be high picks in the 2025 NFL draft, and as a result, they were fired up and hopeful they would bid adieu to college with a win.

"Well Off Media," owned by Deion Sanders Jr., released a video on Sunday morning with behind-the-scenes footage of the players during the game. In one of the scenes, Hunter delivers a fiery message to Sanders after he gets sacked. The two discuss the play on the sideline, and Hunter is not happy with how much time it took Sanders to get up.

"Get your a** up, boy!" Hunter said (2:52).

Although the Colorado Buffaloes were not able to come out on top after this message from Hunter, the two stars were able to connect on one more highlight reel play to end their college careers.

With the Buffaloes losing 27-0 in the third quarter, Shedeur Sanders threw a pass that Travis Hunter caught. Hunter would go on to pick up 43 yards and a touchdown on the play to give the Buffaloes their first points of the bowl game. Sanders finished the matchup with 208 passing yards and two touchdowns, whereas Hunter had four receptions for 106 yards and a touchdown.

Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders will both be top picks in the 2025 NFL draft

Although Hunter and Sanders have become one of the most dynamic duos in college football, Saturday's Alamo Bowl was the last the Buffs will see of them. Both players will enter the 2025 NFL draft and are expected to be top-five picks. As a result, they will not go to the same team.

So, this will be the last we see of these stars together as teammates, at least for the foreseeable future. Although it is possible that they could reunite later in their careers, there is no realistic possibility that they could get drafted by the same team.

Both players are in the running to be the first overall pick. It will likely come down to whether the team picking first wants a quarterback.
