Shedeur Sanders has been one of the strongest quarterbacks in College Football in the last few years. Last week, he had another strong performance, and threw a Hail Mary touchdown to send his Colorado Buffaloes overtime against the Baylor Bears in a game they would be victorious in.

Sanders's sister - the daughter of Buffaloes coach Deion Sanders - Shelomi Sanders was at that game supporting her family.

This week, she decided to show her support virtually. Before the Colorado Buffaloes kicked off against the UCF Knights on Saturday, Shelomi Sanders posted a picture of Shedeur on Instagram, which was accompanied with the caption

On the field, Shedeur Sanders had another good showing.

He threw for 290 yards, going 28 from 35, with a pass completion percentage of 80%. Additionally, Sanders was able to throw for three touchdowns, but he did have one of his passes intercepted by the Knights defense.

Unlike last weeks game against Baylor, this game was a lot simpler for the Buffaloes. They were the dominant team, despite coming into the game as heavy underdogs.

In the end, Colorado would be able to cruise to a convincing 48-21 victory, thanks to the abilities of Shedeur Sanders and his teammates. This victory means that the Buffaloes have won four games this season, which matches the amount they won in 2023.

Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter met Cam Newton before the game

There was a moment that happened before the game that went viral.

Former NFL quarterback Cam Newton approached Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter, who were both preparing for the game. These two stars are considered the best players on the team and two of the best players in all of College Football.

However, instead of being receptive to Newton, both of them (but mostly Travis Hunter) appeared to somewhat blank Cam Newton.

There has since been some speculation on why they supposedly did this.

But, the incident has been generally understood as a reflection of how disciplined and locked in the two players are.

They are so focused on football and trying to perform at the highest level at all times that interviews with NFL legends are secondary to preparing for a game.

This method may seem cold and not friendly, but it has been able to prepare these players to play the best they can, which has been backed up by their recent results.
