Travis Hunter is enjoying a fabulous season with the Colorado Buffaloes thus far. The two-way phenom has drawn praise from several fans and analysts for his performances as a wideout and as a cornerback.
On Saturday, former NFL cornerback Aqib Talib appeared on the "Broncos and Bourbon," and waxed lyrical about Hunter's two-way ability with Phil Milani.
"He (Hunter) is built for it." Talib said." He did it in high school, he's doing it in college. And if you can do it in college I think you can do it in the NFL. So, I'm looking forward to it. He's gonna change the game." [Timestamp: 1:45]
Talib, who won the Super Bowl with the Denver Broncos in 2016, also said that Hunter can demand big bucks from top NFL teams for his unique game.
"Travis Hunter is going to go to the league (NFL) and he's going to play both (wideout and cornerback). He's gonna get paid like he's playing both so if a regular guy gets 100 meals, he's gonna get 200 meals because he's playing two positions." Talib added.
Talib, a five-time Pro Bowler, played as a cornerback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New England Patriots, Denver Broncos, LA Rams, and Miami Dolphins during his pro career.
He also admitted that he wanted to be part of an offensive setup as well. However, Talib said he did not have the endurance that a two-way player like Hunter possesses.
