"Has he decommitted yet" - College football fans react to 5-star USC commit Julian Lewis' Pro Day performance at Elite 11 camp

College football fans are hoping Julian Lewis will decommit from USC. Lewis is a five-star recruit and the third-ranked quarterback in the class of 2025.

Lewis showed off his skills at the Pro Day performance at the Elite 11 camp on Wednesday. He was dominant with his throws and was awarded Pro Day Champion.

Following his successful day, fans hoped he would open up his recruitment again.

"future hoosier," a fan tweeted.

Some fans think Lewis will decommit and hope they will go to their school.

"Auburn is getting a good 1," a fan tweeted.

"O yeah he’s forsure flipping. USC is a sinking ship!" a fan predicted in their tweet.

Julian Lewis says he's 'locked in' to USC commitment

Despite Julian Lewis being committed to USC, he has still visited Colorado and Auburn, so the rumors of him committing are there.

However, Lewis pledged his commitment to the school at the Elite 11 camp on Wednesday, erasing all doubts.

"People ask me all the time if I'm gonna flip, but I've been locked in for a while now," Lewis said (via Matt Moreno).

A big reason why Lewis committed to USC is because of coach Lincoln Riley. Lewis says Riley has had a good run with Heisman quarterbacks Caleb Williams, Kyler Murray and Baker Mayfield.

“I chose USC for Coach Riley, Coach Riley has had a long run with quarterbacks,” Lewis said. “He's had a good thing with all the Heisman trophies and stuff like that. That's hard to skip over as a quarterback. That's what got me."

In 2023, Lewis was 11-2 as a starter at Carrollton, going 186-for-280 for 3,094 yards, 48 touchdowns and two interceptions. In 2022, he went 283-for-432 for 4,118 yards, 48 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.

In his second year on the varsity team, Lewis did a much better job of not turning the ball over, which helped him become a five-star recruit.
