Alabama Crimson Tide head coach Kalen DeBoer praised wide receiver Kendrick Law while in conversation with Greg McElroy and Cole Cubelic on Wednesday. Speaking about Law, DeBoer said:

“He hit 23.6 mph in workouts, and he can absolutely fly … on top of being a 450 lb bench guy,”

Kendrick Law has been widely praised for his high-power workouts and the strong numbers that he has been putting in. This has led some publications to compare him to DK Metcalf, one of the quickest and strongest athletes in the NFL today.

Although Law has demonstrated athletic ability, he has not performed well. Over the last two seasons, he has struggled to stay on the field, making only 23 receptions for 238 receiving yards and no touchdowns.

With the praise that Law has been receiving from the media and his coach, Law is expected to become a more regular member of the Crimson Tide program under Kalen DeBoer in the upcoming season.

What did Kalen DeBoer talk about during SEC Media Days?

During his interview at SEC Media Days, Kalen DeBoer spoke about what it is like to follow Nick Saban, a coach who will always be associated with the success of the Alabama Crimson Tide. On the pressure of having to succeed Nick Saban in the role, DeBoer told the media:

"I understand there's only one Coach Saban, There will only ever be one Coach Saban. This program is special, and I take it as a great honor to be the one that gets to do everything we can to carry on the great tradition".
"Their chemistry and their trust and belief is one thing, and the accountability, as well. These guys, they know they need each other to reach the goals that we have as a program," DeBoer added.

Saban has led the Crimson Tide for the past 17 seasons, guiding Alabama to six national championships. Throughout his tenure, the program was always in contention for the SEC championship.
