Arch Manning announced this week that, after holding out for months, he would now be appearing in EA Sports College Football 25. The Texas Longhorns quarterback will have a name and face in the game.

A screenshot of how his virtual avatar will look was released on Saturday. Here is how college football fans responded to this release.

These fans are not impressed by the looks of Arch Manning in the game.

"they did him dirty with that face scan LMAO" said this fan
"That is NOT arch manning" said another fan
"He looks like a wojack 💀" said a third fan
"dollar store arch manning" wrote this fan
"Nope that’s @MattLeinartQB" wrote another fan

However, while fans have aimed at the way the Arch Manning avatar looks, the majority of fans disagree with the player ratings that Arch Manning has received (87 overall)

"87 is absolutely insane for a QB who’s never played" said this fan
"87 and abilities for someone who has played a drive??? lol" said another fan
"Isn’t he back up at Texas how is he an 87" said a third fan

These fans have reacted to the fact that players will be unable to edit overall rankings, meaning that Arch Manning is likely to stay at 87.

"Unrealistic ratings & not being able to edit might be the downfall of this" said this fan
"87 overall is the second most unserious part of this screenshot, only to not being able to edit attributes." said another fan

Some revealed their plans to try to get Arch Manning to transfer to their program during a dynasty mode save

"Sending all my resources to get this guy to transfer to Bloomington" said this fan
"Get ready to join my ECU rebuild buddy.." said another fan
"How hard is it going to be for me to get him to transfer to Coastal Carolina?" said another fan

Could Arch Manning play in 2024?

Arch Manning may have a high rating in EA Sports College Football 25, but in real life, many fans haven't seen him play with the Texas Longhorns.

He spent all but a few snaps of his freshman season on the sidelines, as Quinn Ewers led the Longhorns to a Big 12 championship and a college football playoff appearance.

Manning's sophomore year looks the same as his freshman, as Ewers has returned to Texas for one more year, keeping Manning on the bench.

Arch Manning arrived in Texas as the top prospect in the country, with a lot of potential. Spending two years on the sidelines may not harm his abilities or prospects, as he will only improve by observing and training with one of the top quarterbacks in college football right now.
