Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders was successful in leading the Buffs to a 28-9 victory during the Rocky Mountain showdown against the Colorado State Rams. After last week's disappointing performance, Shedeur found his footing once again as he led the offense effectively on the field.
Following the victory, Shedeur Sanders had a small altercation with Rams QB Brayden Fowler Nicolosi. After Nicolosi's comments about the Buffs getting a 'rude awakening' earlier this week, Shedeur told the Rams QB that he couldn't 'f**k with him' on the field before exiting the game.
Fans took to social media to share their perspective on Shedeur's altercation with Brayden Fowler Nicolosi. One fan was not pleased with the Colorado QB's behavior and called him out.
"He's always so cocky. Disgusting behavior."
Another fan called out the dual personality of Shedeur depending on the Buffs' situation on the field.
"Loves talking when he's winning, hides in the locker room when they're losing. This guy sucks."
This fan blamed Coach Prime for Shedeur's arrogant behavior.
"Kid is arrogant and entitled because of his daddy. No chance in hell I would advise a team to draft him next year. CANCER!!"
Another fan tried to defend Shedeur's trash-talking by comparing it with NBA legends LeBron James and Michael Jordan.
"This is trash talk in sports people just pick and choose when they're mad. Same people that hate Shedeur say Jordan is better than LeBron even though he acted the same way."
This fan predicted that Shedeur Sanders will be a bust in the NFL.
"The future draft bust needs to know his place. I can't wait until he is out of the NFL in the future."
Shedeur Sanders finished the Rocky Mountain showdown while recording 310 passing yards and four TD passes. He and two-way star Travis Hunter led Colorado's offense against the Rams and put up a brilliant display of their chemistry with each other on the field.
Shedeur Sanders brings out the entire Colorado O-line during post-game press conference
The Colorado O-line did a splendid job of protecting their quarterback during the Rocky Mountain showdown. Shedeur was sacked only once during the entire game and he managed to complete 36-of-the-49 passes he attempted during the game.
To celebrate the win and showcase his gratitude, the Colorado QB brought out the entire O-line during the post-game press conference. This comes after their disappointing performance in week 2 against the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
As the Buffs celebrate their seventh consecutive Rocky Mountain victory, they will be preparing for their first Big 12 contest against the Baylor Bears next week. It will be interesting to see if Shedeur Sanders can help the team continue this winning momentum and qualify for the bowl games this season.
