No. 4 Texas will lock horns with No. 6 Ohio State in the Cotton Bowl for their College Football Playoff semifinal clash on Friday, and ESPN analyst Pat McAfee has picked the Buckeyes to advance to the national championship game. While many might agree that Ohio State is the favorite, WWE legend "The Undertaker" wasn't pleased with McAfee's pick.
On Thursday's episode of his ESPN show, McAfee was previewing the Texas vs. Ohio State game and spilled the beans on his personal chats with "The Undertaker." McAfee said that the WWE Hall of Famer is hyped for the CFP semifinal, and is rooting for a Texas win.
"Undertaker is sending me the Hook 'em signs while he's on a damn steel pony making his debut on 'Netflix Raw,'" McAfee said. "He was not happy that I picked against Texas."
"The Undertaker" is a popular figure in Texas, and he's a big fan of the Longhorns football team. He was born in Houston and resides in Austin. The "Phemon" has made appearances in the broadcast booth for Texas games and also presented the Big 12 championship MVP belt to quarterback Quinn Ewers when the Longhorns beat Oklahoma State 49-21 in the title game in December 2023.
