Colorado Buffaloes coach Deion Sanders made an appearance on this week's edition of College Game Day. During his appearance, Pat McAfee spoke about the Heisman Trophy odds for Buffaloes star Travis Hunter.
McAfee told Sanders that Hunter was the second favorite in the odds for the Heisman Trophy. In reply to his, Sanders told the former Indianapolis Colts punter:
"How did you even fix your mouth to say this. Second. Travis Hunter and second have never gotten along. "

Travis Hunter is one of the best players in College Football this season. He is a strong dual-position player who can make key plays on offense and on defense.
In the five games that the Buffaloes have played this season, Hunter has recorded 561 receiving yards and scored six touchdowns. He has also made 16 tackles (including the forced fumble to set up the Buffaloes comeback win against the Baylor Bears) and two interceptions.
Hunter is a unique player, something that Pat McAfee mentioned to Sanders later in the interview.
"Travis Hunter is doing something that nobody has done in College Football. 127 snaps a game. He's one of 10 players to average more than 100 yards receiving, he locks down on the defense," McAfee said.
Who is ahead of Travis Hunter for the Heisman Trophy?
Coming into week seven, Fox Sports does have Travis Hunter as the second favorite in the odds to win the Heisman Trophy, with odds of +300.
Fanduel also shares this sentiment, giving Hunter odds of +360 to win the Heisman Trophy.
Both sites are also together in who they currently think is the favorite to win the Heisman Trophy.
That player is Boise State Broncos running back Ashton Jeanty, who is on course for a historic season. He already has 1,091 rushing yards from 96 attempts and has scored 16 touchdowns in just five games the Broncos have played this season.
This includes a six-touchdown game against Georgia Southern and recording 256 rushing yards against the Washington State Cougars.
If Jeanty continues putting up numbers like this, whatever Travis Hunter may be able to do may not be enough to take the Heisman from Jeanty.
While Hunter and second place do not go together (as Sanders said), he may have to if Ashton Jeanty continues with his historic season.
