The College Football 25 video game has brought a lot of excitement to players in the last couple of days as they started gaining access to it. There was a load of anticipation ahead of the release after more than a decade and it has so far lived up to the hype.
While many have enjoyed their time playing the game, there seems to be a common aspect of the game that many are currently struggling with. Many players have found kicking very difficult, which has affected their play in field goals, kickoffs, punts and on the special team.

Here's a guide on kicking efficiently in College Football 25.
How to kick in College Football 25?
Executing the right kick in College Football 25 is no easy task. EA Sports could have intentionally designed it that way to bring players a different experience from what they've had on Madden NFL over the years. Nonetheless, it hasn't been pleasant for many.
To get the right kick in different situations in the game, there's a need to understand the two aspects of it. These are the accuracy and power of the kick. Both aspects have to be targeted accurately on every occasion to ensure a good kick can be executed in the game.
Here's a way to execute both aspects of kicking correctly.
#1, Accuracy
Targeting the green zone is crucial in getting an accurate kick on College Football 25. To ensure a kick or punt goes in the intended direction in the game, there’s a need to target and stop the first meter precisely in the green zone, ideally right in the center of it.

It’s worth noting that this applies even if a player is aiming to kick to the left or right side of the field. Getting the green zone right in the first meter ensures the accuracy of the kick.
#2, Power
Getting the power meter right comes after aligning the accuracy as close to the green zone as possible. Players can then hold the button for kicking on their controller to feel the power meter.
It’s worth noting that the speed at which this meter fills will vary depending on the situation, requiring players to adjust their timing for each occasion. Kickoffs have the slowest meter fill in College Football 25, field goals are quite moderate and punts are much faster.
It's important to have a moderate press on the controller when trying to feel the meter's power. Merging this with the right accuracy will ensure good kicks in the game. Players get more used to it as they play frequently.
