On Friday, Colorado Buffaloes coach Deion Sanders appeared on the "Tamron Hall Show." While interacting with the host, he opened up about the confident mindset that helped him achieve success during his professional playing and coaching career.

Sanders said he always strives to work for the best outcome possible. This helps him stay motivated and ensures that he is making a positive impact on whatever he is doing.

"I don't wanna sound brash or the risk of tipping this with arrogance, but I expect the best," Sanders said. "I don't expect leftovers. I expect the best. I don't expect the the coming second, I expect the coming first......I do it all the way.
"Everything that I'm involved in and even the products I endorse, I give it a 100% and I don't put my name on it unless I stand by it. So everything in life I expect......I don't do nothing by chance by happenstance. Like everywhere I go it I'm ordained like I'm supposed to be there."

This season, Deion Sanders helped the Colorado Buffaloes qualify for a bowl game as a part of the Big 12 after last season's disappointing 4-8 debut in the erstwhile Pac-12. This was the program's first bowl game appearance since the 2020 season.

However, "Coach Prime" could not end the season with a victory as the Buffaloes lost to the BYU Cougars in the Alamo Bowl. His sons, quarterback Shedeur and safety Shilo, played their final collegiate season and will declare for the 2025 NFL draft to follow in their father's footsteps and be successful in the professional league.

Deion Sanders will not let Shedeur play for a couple of teams in the NFL

Shedeur Sanders is considered to be a top pick in the first round of the draft in April. However, Deion Sanders has said he will play a role in deciding where his son goes and which team he plays for.

"It's not like who I would like for him (Shedeur) to play for. It's a couple of teams that I won't allow him to play for," Deion Sanders said. "So it's not like that. But this is my profession. I know what's behind the curtain. We ain't got to get back there for me to understand what's behind the curtain and what's not prominent for my son. I'm not doing it."

Shedeur Sanders finished the 2024 season with 4,134 yards and 37 touchdowns. He was honored with the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award for his performance on the gridiron for the Buffs.

Earlier, it was rumored that the New York Giants could potentially draft the quarterback. However, with the Tennessee Titans securing the No. 1 pick in the draft, it will be interesting to see which team decides to select him in April.
