Travis Hunter's mother Ferrante Adams has been one of his strongest supporters throughout his collegiate journey. On Wednesday's segment of 'The Pre Game Show,' she shared a powerful and motivating message about her faith and beliefs.

During the show, Travis Hunter's mom talked about how she is a religious individual who believes in the power of God. She also spoke about how she will always defend her son and spiritually invest in his well-being. Ferrante Adams believes that if she puts her faith in the power of the Lord Christ, then nothing can bring harm to her and her family.

"Listen, I am a praying mother," Ferrante Adams said. "You can come for me all day. But when you come for my kids, we got a problem. 'Cause I'm not going to take it to the streets, Imma take it to my knees and I'm gonna pray about it.

"So baby you coming and barking up the wrong tree. But I got something for you. Cause I fight in the spiritual and not in the natural. So baby if I'm with Jesus, and Jesus is on my side, I'm on the winning team. You better get like me."

Travis Hunter had a successful final collegiate campaign with the Colorado Buffaloes. He helped them secure a Bowl game berth for the first time since 2020 where they unfortunately lost to BYU in the Alamo Bowl. However. the two-way star excelled as an individual on the gridiron and was honored with the Heisman Award this season.

However, Travis Hunter and his fiancee Leanna Lenee's relationship has been in the negative spotlight, receiving backlash and hate from online trolls. Leanna's alleged party videos and photos resurfaced on social media recently which led to the couple deactivating their Instagram account in order to protect their mental health and relationship.

But the two-way star and his fiancee returned to the public limelight recently during the SI Sportsperson of the Year Award, where Hunter was awarded the Breakout Star of the Year honor.

Travis Hunter's mom tried to cheer him up after Alamo Bowl loss to BYU

Hunter helped the Colorado Buffaloes secure a winning season in their debut Big 12 campaign. Unfortunately, they could not end with a Bowl game victory as the BYU Cougars defeated them 36-14 to lift the Alamo Bowl trophy.

However, Ferrante Adams was still proud of everything that her son achieved during his collegiate journey. After their Alamo Bowl loss, she shared a post on IG where we see her posing with Hunter while sharing some words of affirmation and love for her son.

"I love you Baby @db3_tip on the next level. I'm so proud of you," Edmond wrote in the caption.

Travis Hunter is expected to be a top pick in the first round of the 2025 NFL draft. It will be interesting to see which team decides to draft him and utilize his two-way skills professionally in the league.
