The Georgia Bulldogs have started their recruiting process as top-ranked players from around the country are officially visiting the campus. Four-star recruit C.J. Wiley was one of the players who had an official visit with Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs this weekend.
Wiley is one of the top prospects on the Bulldogs' board, regardless of position. The 6-foot-4 wide receiver talked about his visit with the Athens-based school and its "good coaches and program" after the visit.
"I had fun with the coaches and recruits," Wiley said in an interview with On3. "What excites me about the opportunity with UGA is that I am a priority and that they want me to be a part of their football program."
C.J. Wiley is ranked as the country's No. 16 receiver and the 153rd-best prospect overall, according to On3 Industry. He had a brilliant junior season as he caught 68 passes for 1,468 yards and 14 touchdowns.
Wiley is scheduled for another visit with Kirby Smart's team on Jun. 7. However, other teams are vying to acquire the receiver including the likes of LSU, Florida State, Texas A&M, Auburn and USC. LSU might be the Bulldogs' biggest challenger in signing the 6-foot-4 wide receiver.
