Deion Sanders saw his team fall to Kansas State in Week 7. It was a hard-fought game for the Buffaloes at home in Boulder and they weren’t able to get the better of their Big 12 opponent. However, Coach Prime wasn’t happy with some of the Wildcats antics in the contest.
The coach suggested that Kansas State players were faking injuries. Deion Sanders specifically pointed to a third-quarter drive that led to a Colorado touchdown.
“I think they had several players go down consecutively,” Sanders said on his weekly radio show. “Now, I don’t know if they were hurt or not. It was funny to me. I thought it was really brilliant. I really thought it was brilliant. I just started laughing. It was brilliant.”

Three Kansas State players went down with injuries consecutively during the drive in question, each following a significant offensive play by Colorado. As the injuries occurred in rapid succession, the crowd reacted with loud boos, convinced it was a tactic to disrupt the Buffaloes' fast-paced offense.
Deion Sanders on Week 8 opponent Arizona
Deion Sanders and his Colorado team travel to Tucson this weekend to play Arizona. For the Buffaloes, this comes as an opportunity to bounce back from the disappointing defeat against Kansas State. Sanders gave his views on the Week 8 opponent on Tuesday.
"I say this every week but I am not lying, it is a well-coached team,” Sanders said. "He has got a great quarterback, I feel. One of the best receivers in the nation, if not the best. This kid is certainly a pro. Let's start right there. You have to deal with those two.
"The quarterback can make all the throws. He doesn't look to run but he can run. But he has tremendous escapability. Running game, and they can move the ball up and down the field. Defensively they got some big guys in the middle. They are stout vs. the run somewhat."
Colorado met Arizona last season in the Pac-12. The Wildcats were the superior team in the contest, defeating the Buffaloes 34-31 in Boulder. This is a chance for Deion Sanders and his team to get revenge against their opponent in a new conference.
According to Sanders, Travis Hunter will be back in action against Arizona in Tucson on Saturday. The Heisman Trophy hopeful missed the second half of the game against Kansas State
