Shedeur Sanders resumes college football action with Colorado this weekend. The Buffaloes were on bye in Week 6 following their brilliant start to the season. On Saturday, they host Kansas State in Boulder in another Big 12 encounter that tests their resilience.
Kansas State fans are highly confident ahead of the game and see the Wildcats sealing a win against Deion Sanders’ team on Saturday. One Kansas State fan, who goes by the moniker of Saint Bill Synder, made a crazy bet on “Locked On Podcast Network” on Friday.
“If Colorado beats us next week, I'll get Shedeur Sanders’ face tatted on my a**,” Saint Bill Snyder said. “Property of Colorado football, because I think the team is f**king trash. They're trash.”
Saint Bill Synder is a foremost Kansas State fan on X. The user, who appears in a cardboard mask, got his moniker from two-time Kansas State coach Bill Synder. He's made some notable bets earlier this season, including one ahead of the game against BYU, which the Wildcats lost.
Chris Klieman makes a bold claim on Shedeur Sanders' draft possibilities
While Saint Bill Synder doesn't rate Colorado football despite its brilliant start to the season, Kansas State coach Chris Klieman is wary of the threat the Buffaloes pose even though the Wildcats are considered the favorites.
Klieman knows that the Colorado offense, led by Shedeur Sanders, is capable of a lot on the gridiron, and the coach has respect for the QB. Like many analysts, Klieman sees the former Jackson State player as a top prospect in the upcoming draft.
"There's a lot of concerns that we have, obviously," Klieman said. "[If you] go over to the offensive side, I think [Shedeur] Sanders will be the first quarterback picked off the board. He should be — in the film that I've seen of a lot of the top [NFL prospect] guys — I think he's an excellent thrower.
"You can't really confuse him. I've seen a lot of different teams try to manipulate coverage in disguise. And he does a really good job pre-snap to post-snap. And he can make all the throws and has a lot of guys to throw the football to."
ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper had Shedeur Sanders at the very top of his latest top 10 quarterback rankings for the 2025 NFL draft, consolidating him as the premier prospect in this highly anticipated draft class. Many analysts and draft experts also hold this opinion.
Through five games this season, Sanders has racked up 1,630 passing yards and 14 touchdowns, while maintaining an impressive 70.1% completion rate. He's currently on track to surpass his standout performance from last year, which was already considered remarkable.
