Travis Hunter made an appearance on a recent episode of “The Pivot” podcast. The trio of Ryan Clark, Channing Crowder and Fred Taylor made a trip to Boulder to feature the two-way star on the show in a fun episode.

Among the top topics discussed with Hunter was his relationship with Leanna Lenee. Things became interesting when he was asked about how he gets to manage the attention he gets from other girls as a college football star.

“Everybody knows the way I love my girl, they aren't going to worry about that,” Hunter said. “I have nothing to worry about. I love my woman.
“When I take a picture with a girl, I make sure my hands are in the front, you can see both of my hands and I'm not that close to you. It's a routine. I make sure I only take pictures with a female when she's around.”

Travis Hunter and Leanna Lenee’s wedding date

After a couple of years in a romantic relationship, Travis Hunter and Leanna Lenee will be getting married next year. The two-way star proposed to her in February, taking their love life to a new level.

Hunter disclosed his wedding date in November on teammate Shedeur Sanders' "2Legendary" podcast. The unexpected announcement caught the team's star quarterback completely off guard, expressing his surprise at the news.

“May 24th, next year, bro," Hunter said. "Right, around the rookie minicamp in Chattanooga, Tennessee. "It's a good venue, bro. (Leanna) wanted to have a good venue for everybody.”

Planning to get married during rookie minicamp may delay the honeymoon, but Hunter is eager to take the next step with his fiancée.

Hunter and Leanna's relationship began during his senior year at Collins High School, where they started dating as students.

Travis Hunter named finalist for Heisman Trophy

Travis Hunter will be heading to New York this week. On Monday, the two-way star was named among the four finalists for the Heisman Trophy, edging close to claiming the honor.

Hunter will be joined by Oregon quarterback Dillon Gabriel, Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty and Miami quarterback Cam Ward. The winner of the award will be announced on Saturday at the annual ceremony in New York.

According to the oddsmakers, Hunter is the favorite to claim the award. The Colorado star was fantastic this season on both sides of the field, giving him an edge over other contenders. He is set to become the second defensive player to win the award.
