"I'm not embarrassed by anything" - Nick Saban's daughter Kristen Saban shows off silver dress in defiant video

Former Alabama coach Nick Saban's daughter Kristen Saban has had a tough few months after she had to deal with the death of her grandmother, Mary Saban Pasko, in September and the death of her dog, Gunnar, who died two weeks ago. She detailed her sadness at both events in emotive Instagram posts, but this week she has had to deal with a different issue.

After posting a clip of her Thanksgiving dress on her Instagram stories, some Alabama and college football fans made fun of how she walked. In defiance, Kristen posted another clip of herself in a silver dress on Wednesday.

In the clip, a motivational voiceover played as Kristen Saban modeled her dress for the camera.

"I'm not embarrassed by anything I've been through. What may be tea for you is testimony for me. So, if you're gonna talk about what broke me, invite me to the table so I can tell you what God did with the pieces," the voiceover said.

On Tuesday, via her Instagram stories, Kristen Saban contemplated not posting clips of her personal life on the platform due to the abuse leveled against her by Bama fans before reversing her decision.

A few weeks ago during an Instagram "AskMeAnything" session, Kristen Saban discussed the toll that being part of Nick Saban's family had taken on herself and her mother, Terry Saban, and how relieved they were when he retired in January.

"That morning, my mom let me know that it was being heavily considered but wasn't 100% sure," Kristen said. "I don't think my dad was completely set on it until he gave himself a few hours to make a decision, and he made it.

"I had a weird sense of relief that we were not moving forward. The last season was one I will never forget for all the adversity the team faced and conquered, but like all others, it had its hardships. I think a lot of us were starting to feel run-down and stressed; at least, I know I was feeling that way. I kind of felt an end coming but didn't know when. All I know is I felt exhausted."

Even after Nick Saban retired, Kristen Saban has continued to attend Alabama Crimson Tide games under new coach Kalen DeBoer and model game day outfits. She said that she would stay with her family in Tuscaloosa to stay near her father and the program despite not being the coach's daughter in the spotlight anymore.
