Although two-way star Travis Hunter and the No. 23-ranked Colorado Buffaloes are done with their regular season, Hunter is still busy. The team and player are preparing for their bowl game. They will face the No. 17-ranked BYU Cougars in the Alamo Bowl on Dec. 28.

While he is focused on the upcoming bowl game, Travis Hunter has several things to be excited about off the field too. As he prepares for the 2025 NFL draft, it is not surprising to see various brands interested in NIL deals with Hunter.

On Thursday morning, it was announced that Hunter had signed with the $45 billion-worth brand Adidas. He will wear the 'The Three Stripes' in the NFL.

Adidas US Sports GM Aaron Seabron spoke about Travis Hunter and the excitement Adidas has to sign him.

"Travis Hunter is undeniably one of the most dynamic athletes in any sport."

Hunter also expressed his joy in signing his new sponsorship deal.

"The partners they currently have are top tier with some of the best young guys like me. I'm pumped to join The Three Stripes as we continue pushing the boundaries of the sport we all love."

Travis Hunter signs with Adidas ahead of the Heisman Trophy ceremony

Travis Hunter signed with Adidas ahead of a busy week for him. He was named a finalist for the Heisman Trophy, and the ceremony will take place on Saturday at 8 p.m. ET.

He is a finalist alongside Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty, Miami QB Cam Ward and Oregon QB Dillon Gabriel. He is widely expected to win the award, though Jeanty is in the running too.

In signing his deal with Adidas, Hunter joins a large Adidas football roster headlined by back-to-back Super Bowl champion Patrick Mahomes. Recently, Adidas signed several young NFL and college football players, including fellow Heisman candidate Cam Ward, Cowboys LB Micah Parsons, Falcons QB Micahel Penix Jr. and Bears WR Rome Odunze.

Hunter is projected to be one of the top picks in the 2025 NFL draft. Several projections have him as the top pick in the draft but that is not a guarantee. Unlike many years, there is not one player that has solidified themselves as the definitive No. 1 pick.

For example, last season, it was obvious that quarterback Caleb Williams was going to be the first pick, regardless of which team had it. This season, the No. 1 pick could vary based on which team picks first.
