Colorado Buffaloes' star quarterback, Shedeur Sanders, revealed his unique approach to NFL Combine preparation. In an interview with Overtime on Tuesday, Sanders emphasized his focus on mental wellness.

When host Darius Sanders inquired about his methods, Shedeur turned his camera to showcase a serene landscape – pristine mountains surrounding a blue lake amid lush greenery.

"I'm working on mental relaxation right now," Sanders said.

Sanders appears to retreat at an island location before the upcoming NFL draft. He playfully added:

"If you just want to pull up, just say that, and I'll tell you what I'm doing next."

Sanders enters the NFL draft following two stellar seasons at Colorado, concluding with the Alamo Bowl. His impressive performance earned him the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year title and the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award. The highly rated prospect projects as an early selection in the April 2025 NFL Draft.

The star quarterback previously hinted at his interest in the New York Giants, even wearing custom cleats when the team seemed poised for the top selection.

"What's meant to happen is going to happen. I don't feel like God would put me in a place I'm not supposed to go. We've made it everywhere we've gone and been successful. ... I'm happy with the order. Whatever happens happens."

The draft order has the Tennessee Titans picking first, followed by the Cleveland Browns at No. 2 and the Giants at No. 3. The New England Patriots hold the No. 4 pick, with the Jacksonville Jaguars rounding out the top five. The top 10 is completed by the Las Vegas Raiders, New York Jets, Carolina Panthers, New Orleans Saints and Chicago Bears.

Shedeur Sanders and Miami's Cam Ward stand as the leading quarterback prospects vying for the first selection.
