"I still don't drink": Deiondra Sanders' fiancée Jacquees refuses to break his sobriety cycle despite partying hard on NYE

Jacquees, Deiondra Sanders' fiancée, partied hard during the New Year festivities, but the rapper had said that he did not drink alcohol during the celebrations. On Wednesday, the R&B star posted a series of pictures from his New Year outing at a club.

"Ian changing my number, I just ain’t answering the phone 😂🤣 #HappyNewYear25 ( I still don’t drink I was controlling the vibe)," Jaquees wrote in the caption.

Jacquees, who was with Sanders, had a brief performance at the club and shared a glimpse of his routine at the New Year's party. Jacquees wore a white suit and pants with dark shades and some eye-catching chains. Meanwhile, Sanders sported a shiny silver dress with matching heels. She also posted a few pictures of the New Year's bash on her Instagram.

"New year, same me—just leveling up! ✨🥂 Cheers to 365 days of blessings, growth, and unforgettable memories. #Hello2025 #NewYearVibes," Sanders wrote.

Jacquees had a drinking problem before his engagement to Deiondra Sanders

In November 2024, Jacquees made an appearance on "Super Star TV Online" and spilled the beans on his alcohol addiction. He even opened up about the changes he had made in his life before getting engaged to Coach Prime's eldest child, Deiondra Sanders.

"On my break, I was really having to get myself together personally," Jacquees said. "You know I've been sober for nine months, no liquor, you feel me? So I've been doing all that, so, that time period I was just getting myself together. You know I recently got engaged, so next year I'm gonna get married." (3:48)

Jacquees and Sanders got engaged over the weekend of July 13 and 14, 2024. Their ceremony took place in front of close family and friends. The celebration was initially meant to be a pool party and baby shower, but Jacquees surprised Sanders when he asked for her hand in marriage.

The couple has a son named Snow Que, who was born on Aug. 9. Notably, Snow shares his birthday with his grandfather, Deion Sanders, who was born 57 years before him.

Deiondra and Jacquees even attended some Colorado games together last year to support Deion, as well as Sheduer and Shilo.
