The Georgia Bulldogs football program had questions swirling after a 28-10 loss versus the Ole Miss Rebels. Bulldogs quarterback Carson Beck struggled to lead Georgia's offense, throwing for 186 yards and an interception without a touchdown.

Beck and the Bulldogs bounced back in their next game versus the Tennessee Volunteers, topping the latter with 31-17 and re-establishing themselves as a playoff contender. On Monday afternoon, college football analyst Joel Klatt discussed Georgia's win over Tennessee and revealed his support of Beck amid the Bulldogs' struggles.

"It was a dominant performance from Georgia, and in a lot of ways, was finally the Georgia that we've all been waiting to see. We saw a little glimpse of this earlier in the year in that second half against Alabama when they staged that incredible comeback."

Klatt also noted that Georgia played their first complete game on both sides of the ball and began discussing Carson Beck's impact.

"I thought that this week for Georgia was the first time that you got to see dominant defense and quality, efficient offense put together into one game. I didn't think that Georgia had a Carson Beck issue. That was kind of the narrative swirling around Georgia. I didn't think it was Beck... Carson Beck is fine. He's fine. When his team decided to play to his level, they were pretty dominant."

Carson Beck bounces back versus Tennessee

After struggling against Ole Miss, Beck bounced back versus Tennessee. The star quarterback completed 25 of 40 passes for 347 yards and two touchdowns without an interception. He added an additional 32 yards and a third touchdown on the ground.

Beck helped Georgia's offense rack up 453 total yards and commanded five scoring drives. He also had his first performance of the season with more than 300 passing yards without an interception. Beck had thrown an interception in five of Georgia's last six games but broke his turnover streak with arguably his best game of the season.

Through 10 games, Beck has completed 65.1% of his passes for 2,835 yards and 19 touchdowns with 12 interceptions, leading the Bulldogs to an 8-2 record entering Week 13.
