Deion Sanders' Colorado Buffaloes have been one of the most impressive teams this season. They sit third in the Big 12 with a 6-2 overall record (4-1 Big 12) and have an outside chance of reaching the 12-team College Football Playoff.

However, college football analyst Ari Wasserman has bet his life that Colorado won't make it to the playoffs. On Monday's episode of the "Andy & Ari On3" podcast, Wasserman made a bold prediction for the Buffs.

"There's a lot to like about Colorado," Wasserman said. "I've been negative toward this program quite a bit in the past. But this is not the time to be negative.
"I think that they're gonna do something remarkable, on health, dude. If Colorado makes the playoffs, I will die."

Colorado jumped to No. 23 in the AP Poll rankings following their 34–23 win over Cincinnati in Week 9. It was also the Buffs' sixth win, confirming bowl eligibility. They had an open week in Week 10 and moved up two spots to No. 21 due to other results.

This is already a massive improvement for Colorado from last season when the team finished with a dismal 4-8 record.

Sanders and Co. can now make a push for the playoffs this season, but they cannot afford to lose another game.

After an open week, Deion Sanders' Colorado will resume action on Saturday by facing Texas Tech (6-3, 4-2 Big 12) on the road. The Buffs then host Utah (4-4, 1-4) on Nov. 16.

In its penultimate regular season game on Nov. 23, Colorado will travel to face Kansas (2-6, 1-4). The Buffs will play their final regular season game against Oklahoma State (3-6, 0-6) on Nov. 29.

Colorado will be the favorite to win its remaining games, especially with two Heisman contenders in quarterback Shedeur Sanders and two-way star Travis Hunter.

The best the Buffs can do is win their remaining games and hope that teams ahead of them in the College Football Playoff rankings falter.
