Colorado two-way star Travis Hunter and Boise State RB Ashton Jeanty continue to take center stage as this season's Heisman favorites. Both Hunter and Jeanty have been tremendous this season. The Colorado WR/CB helped the Buffs record a 9-3 campaign in the Big 12 and secure their Alamo Bowl showdown against BYU.
On the other hand, Ashton Jeanty helped the Boise State Broncos to their second consecutive Mountain West championship this season. The RB tallied a total of 2,497 yards and 29 touchdowns rushing. He is just a few hundred yards shy of breaking Barry Sanders' single-season rushing record, which was set in 1988 (2,628 rushing yards in 11 games).
According to BetMGM, Hunter continues to lead as the favorite to win the Heisman at -2500. Jeanty is in second place at +10000 odds. The other finalists for the 2024 Heisman include Miami QB Cam Ward and Oregon QB Dillon Gabriel.

With the Heisman Ceremony just a few hours away, fans continue to debate as to who deserves to win the coveted award this season. One fan stated that he will lose faith in the selection committee if Hunter emerges victorious.
"If Hunter wins it's rigged."
Another fan stated that Ashton Jeanty should be the undisputed Heisman winner this season.
"Ashton Jeanty for Heisman. No further questions."
Others shared their thoughts:
"Travis Hunter should win the Heisman and it shouldn't end up being close. He's the best football player in the nation and we haven't seen someone do what he has done in decades," one fan said.
"If Travis Hunter wins heisman tomorrow, the cfb awards is just a popularity contest," another fan shared.
"Ashton Jeanty deserves the Heisman from this stat line alone - He has more rushing yards than half the SEC, a conference allergic to passing the f**king ball," one fan commented.
Another fan stated that the Heisman will lose its credibility if the Colorado two-way star wins the award:
"Tomorrow, when Travis Hunter wins the Heisman, it'll be the biggest snow job since Eric Crouch won it after Rex Grossman's 4,000+ season. A joke. A fake. Rigged without accountability. A trophy that means nothing and has meant nothing since they screwed Rex."
