No. 23-ranked Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders posted a video on his Instagram on Tuesday. In it, he gave a speech before the Buffaloes had their morning practice.

He told his team that there would be recruits joining the team in the coming days. He told his players that he wanted them to be hospitable but also honest about the program.

"We got some recruits coming in that are going to be around your positions. I want you to be hospitable, be kind, but I don't want you to lie. Tell them what it is, tell them what they ask you, be honest.
"If you don't like the program, you don't like it. If you love it, you love it. So, just let them know, give them some insight of how we get down, how we move."

Deion Sanders also spoke to his seniors about how this is it for them. This is their final college football season, but he does not want them to stop putting the effort in. He wants his team to have an excellent bowl game to finish out the season.

"Some of these guys are here because they think they're going to take your job. So, make sure we work at a certain pace with a certain excellence and you seniors, this is it, this is last call.
"You know we had a conversation about that, this is it, this is last call. So make sure you prepare for excellence. You got this last game left, some of you have bowl games left, but let's make sure we got a commitment to excellence."

Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes will have a very different team next season

Recruits will be a big part of the Colorado Buffaloes next season for Deion Sanders. Although the Buffaloes took a big jump forward this season, the team will need to rebuild a bit next year.

The team is losing its two best players, two-way star Travis Hunter and Deion Sanders' son, quarterback Shedeur Sanders. Both players will enter the 2025 NFL draft.

Deion Sanders' other son, safety Shilo Sanders, is also in his final year of eligibility and will declare for the 2025 NFL draft. As a result, the team will need to do well in recruiting players through the transfer portal and out of high school.

The team has already landed five-star quarterback Julian Lewis, the No. 2 recruit in the 2025 class.
