Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders is not among the finalists for the 2024 Heisman Trophy. He has been a strong supporter of his teammate Travis Hunter who is the favorite to win the coveted award. Shedeur was awarded the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award as the best QB in the nation recently.

He is looking to make the transition to the NFL with his Hunter after he clinches the Heisman. The four finalists for the award this season are Hunter, Ashton Jeanty (Boise State), Cam Ward (Miami), and Dillon Gabriel (Oregon).

On "The Travis Hunter Show," Shedeur Sanders and the two-way star discussed what would unfold in New York if Hunter did not win.

"Bro, I'm telling you right now. If you don't win bro, man, you know what I'm on bro," Shedeur said. "Imma cause havoc! Imma flip a table over! We gonna go viral that night. If Travis Hunter doesn't win (the Heisman), we gonna go viral that night. (14:50 onwards).

Shedeur Sanders reveals his most influential Heisman winning QB

On Wednesday's episode of his show "2Legendary" Shedeur Sanders shared which Heisman-winning QB he looks up to. The Colorado QB named Bengals star Joe Burrow as the person who has had the most impact on his development as a player.

Before joining the NFL, Joe Burrow spent three seasons with Ohio State and two with LSU. He helped the Tigers win the natty during the 2019 season while also clinching the Heisman award. Shedeur said that he looks up to Burrow because he is 'relatable' as a person.

"Joe Burrow. I haven't talked to him or anything like that. But I'm just saying from afar, like in his year, that year that he had in college, I like what he was able to do. Because it's nothing glamouring, you know, about Joe Burrow besides he gets everything done."
"What I'm saying is that he just developed a work habit and work ethic that anybody can develop. So he's realistic," Shedeur said.

Shedeur Sanders finished his second stint with the Buffs tallying 3,926 yards and 35 touchdowns passing. He will now gear up for one final time during the team's Alamo Bowl showdown against the BYU Cougars.
