Shedeur Sanders, the star quarterback for the Colorado Buffaloes, isn't letting the offseason slow him down. The Deacon Jones Trophy winner was spotted practicing alongside Miami quarterback Cam Ward.

In an Instagram post on Sunday, Sanders shared a glimpse of his training session with Ward. The photos showcase the quarterbacks locked in, mirroring each other's throwing form during drills.

The final image offered a more relaxed scene, featuring Shedeur Sanders and fellow athletes unwinding by the pool.

While Sanders kept the post without a caption, the message is clear: the offseason is prime time for improvement, and Sanders is putting in the hard work alongside fellow collegiate athletes.

This dedicated training session hints at Sanders' determination to propel the Buffaloes to a successful 2024 season following a challenging 2023. During last season, the Buffaloes fell short of a bowl berth with a sub-six-win record.

For Sanders, the offseason is about redemption. He's putting in the extra work to ensure a winning season for Colorado in 2024. Meanwhile, Cam Ward, a transfer from Washington State, is adjusting to his new Miami home and gearing up for a fresh challenge.

Shedeur Sanders supports teammate despite cover snub

Shedeur Sanders, the top-rated 2025 draft prospect (according to ESPN's mock draft), was surprisingly absent from EA Sports' College Football 25 cover art. Despite holding the highest NIL valuation in college football per On3, Sanders was passed over twice.

His teammate Travis Hunter took center stage alongside Texas' Quinn Ewers and Michigan's Donovan Edwards. This snub didn't faze Shedeur Sanders. The talented quarterback displayed his team spirit by hyping up Hunter on social media, showing the strong bond between the two young athletes.

Shedeur Sanders reacted to the post with a fire emoji and showed his support. While not the cover athlete, the fifth position for ESPN’s mock is already occupied by the former Jackson State quarterback.

Coach Deion Sanders' Colorado squad is now gearing up for their second season under his leadership, and the excitement surrounding the Buffaloes is already palpable with the release of the new game.

EA released the official trailer for College Football 25 on Friday. The trailer marks the return of the popular series after an 11-year hiatus and features exciting gameplay footage, setting the stage for the game's July 19 launch.

EA Sports previously announced that players who opted in to be featured in College Football 25 would receive an NIL compensation of $600. High-profile athletes like Hunter, who secured a cover spot, received more lucrative agreements, potentially including branding and trailer appearances.
