Deion "Coach Prime" Sanders' first ex-wife, Carolyn Chambers, shared some adorable pictures of their children, Deiondra and Deion Sanders Jr., from when they were young. On Sunday, Chambers uploaded the snaps on her Instagram story, taking her followers on a trip down memory lane.
In one picture, Deiondra had her arm wrapped around her brother, while the two appeared to pose for the camera.
A second picture included Deiondra lovingly planting a kiss on Deion Jr.'s cheek.
Another picture saw Deion Jr. and Deiondra all dressed up before presumably heading out for an event.
Deion Sanders and Carolyn Chambers were married for nine years, from 1989 to 1998. Their daughter Deiondra was born on April 17, 1992, while Deion Jr. was born on Dec. 1, 1993.
Carolyn's kids are all grown up now. While Deiondra is a businesswoman and works as a fashion model, Deion Jr. has been growing his career as a content creator, providing footage for the Colorado Buffaloes.
Nonetheless, Carolyn's snaps certainly made many feel nostalgic.
Carolyn Chambers and Coach Prime became grandparents for the first time in August
Coach Prime and Carolyn Chambers became grandparents for the first time in August when their daughter Deiondra and her fiancée, Jacquees, welcomed a baby boy, Snow, into the world. Notably, Snow was born on Aug. 9, exactly 57 years after his grandfather Deion.
Just before Snow was born, Carolyn had gotten emotional at the thought of becoming a grandmother. In a video on Deiondra's YouTube channel, Jacquees asked Carolyn how she was feeling before they left for the hospital to deliver Snow.
With tears in her eyes, Carolyn said:
“I’m excited, I’m overjoyed. I can’t talk cuz I’m gonna cry.” [Timestamp: 12:50]
Deiondra, Jacquees and Snow also met with Coach Prime at Folsom Field after Colorado beat Cincinnati in Week 10 on Oct. 26. Deion got to spend some quality time with his grandson and later even promised to build Snow a playground at his ranch.
