The Michigan Wolverines and their first-year coach Sherrone Moore arrived at the Big Ten media days in style dressed in snazzy suits. Moore replaced coach Jim Harbaugh in January after the national championship-winning coach departed for the NFL with the Los Angeles Chargers.
Moore attended the media days with defensive back Makari Paige, tight end Max Bredeson and influential running back Donovan Edwards. A picture of the players and their coach was posted on the Michigan Instagram page with the caption:

Sherrone Moore aims to continue winning culture
The Michigan Wolverines are going through wholesale changes next season. For the first time in nine years, coach Jim Harbaugh will not be on the sidelines; it will be Sherrone Moore, who joined the team in 2018.
The reigning national champions will also have to contend with losing 17 of 22 starters from last season's all-conquering team. The new coach will also have to find a new quarterback to replace the influential J.J. McCarthy who was picked No. 10 overall in the 2024 NFL draft by the Minnesota Vikings. The battle will be between junior Alex Orji, senior Davis Warren and graduate Jack Tuttle.
It's no wonder that FanDuel has ranked the Wolverines as the third favorite (+750) to win the Big Ten conference despite winning it three years in a row. The favorites for the conference championship are the Ohio State Buckeyes (+155) and the Oregon Ducks (+220).
Moore was defiant about his team's chances of success during the Big Ten media days, highlighting the challenges that he foresees his team surmounting next season to reach their goals.
"We're not going to stray away from the goal of trying to win it all," Moore said. "When you're at Michigan, that should be your goal every single year. [They have] really done a really good job up to this point and taken necessary steps to be elite, to do all the things that we set out to do.
"Win the big games, beat our rivals, beat Ohio State, win the Big Ten, go to college football playoff — and win it. ... Tough, smart, dependable, relentless, enthusiastic and together, that's how I describe our team. We're going to do everything we can to strive for perfection."
Although Moore is a first-year coach, the pressure will be on him to replicate some of the success the Michigan Wolverines have enjoyed under coach Jim Harbaugh.
