While former Alabama head coach Nick Saban is enjoying the life of retirement, his family members are also finding ways to relax and enjoy their free time. For instance, his daughter Kristen went on an adventure with her son and their dog.
Kristen is known for sharing updates about her father and behind-the-scene commentaries on his career, but this time, she shared snippets of her own life. In her Instagram story, Nick Saban's daughter was seen cruising on a boat alongside her "boys," featuring her son and dog in a few heartwarming snaps.
Kristen married Adam Setas in 2015 at the Bryant-Denny Stadium, and the couple has a daughter called Amelie Elizabeth, and a son named James Saban.
Nick Saban's daughter can now support any team she wants
When the Tennessee Vols were battling against the Texas A&M Aggies for the 2024 Men's College World Series title, Kristen Saban posted an Instagram video clarifying why she was cheering for a team that was not Alabama.
First, she uploaded a screenshot of a conversation with her mother, Ms. Terry, who asked her whether she was watching hockey or baseball. Kristen's reply was a picture of singer Morgan Wallen in a Vols jersey from the game, indicating she was rooting for Tony Vitello's squad to win. She wrote:
"I know where my loyalty lies in tonight's game."
Then she provided an explanation as to why she was supporting a team that was not the Crimson Tide.
"Lot of people are not happy that I'm cheering on Tennessee tonight. I don't know what to tell you because I'm at this point in my life right now where I feel like I can cheer on so many different teams because I can.
"Because I've been down to one team for like my entire life and I'll always love Alabama. Please stop getting mad at me. ROLL TIDE. Crimson and White forever."
