Steve Sarkisian’s top new weapon Isaiah Bond recently posed for a photo shoot in his Texas jersey, thrilling fans with his new look. After transferring from Alabama in January — a move he called a “business decision” following head coach Nick Saban's retirement — Bond has been eagerly preparing for the upcoming season.
The wide receiver, who boasts 91,000 Instagram followers, shared some dynamic snaps in his Texas No. 7 jersey. The photos, featuring Bond in burnt orange and white, included a stylish James Bond 007 pose and a striking image against a bold orange background with dramatic lighting and smoke effects.
Officially joining the 2024 roster, Bond celebrated with a photo alongside Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian, who led the team to the College Football Playoff in his third season. Bond, throwing up the “Hook ‘Em” sign, posted the moment on his X (formerly Twitter) account in January.
Bringing SEC-ready skills to the Longhorns, Isaiah Bond has a $643K NIL valuation per On3.com. Last season, he recorded 48 catches, 668 yards and four receiving touchdowns, and he’s looking to work under Texas wide receivers coach Chris Jackson, who has five years of NFL coaching experience.

Longhorns' WR room bolstered by big transfers for 2024 season, including Isaiah Bond
The Longhorns are bringing back an impressive wide receiver lineup for 2024. They’re welcoming three standout transfers: Matthew Golden, Silas Bolden, and Isaiah Bond. Plus, Ryan Wingo shined in spring games, and returning talents like DJ Moore, Ryan Niblett, and Johntay Cook add to the depth.
Coach Sarkisian is hinting at more receiver rotations this season.
“We are gonna play more receivers. I think the length of the season. Um and because of not having all of the rapport with Quinn [Ewers],” Sarkisian said.
Quarterback Quinn Ewers is equally excited.
“It is super deep, and we got a lot of guys that are more than capable of contributing to our team,” Ewers said [Timestamp - 1:10].
Sarkisian added:
“Some of that I have to feel out as games go, to think that I've got seven quality players there. Now, is it going to be a seven man rotation that'll, that'll bear itself out. But I do think we'll play more players than we have in the past. This group is very talented and by far and away our deepest receiver core that we've had in four years.”
The Texas Longhorns are gearing up for their season opener against Colorado State on Aug. 31.
