Steve Sarkisian's wife, Loreal Sarkisian, is in the United Kingdom for the London Fashion Week. The wardrobe stylist is a regular attendee at notable fashion shows and events around the world and she’s once again participating in London.
Ahead of the London Fashion Week event, which kicked off on Friday, Vogue 100 held a dinner to celebrate supermodel Naomi Campbell. The dinner was dedicated to fashion, art and the future, celebrating Campbell’s giant strides in the industry and her contributions.
Loreal Sarkisian, a guest at the dinner, took part in the event to honor Cambell. Following the dinner, she shared some glamorous pictures taken at the event on Instagram. That included photos she took with some of the attendees, including Campbell.
Steve Sarkisian wants a dominant Texas
Texas opened its 2024 college football season with an emphatic 52-0 win over Colorado State.
The Longhorns went on to defeat national defending champion Michigan 31-12 in Ann Arbor in Week 2. That adequately reflected the type of team Steve Sarkisian wants them to be.
“I want to play 60 minutes,” Sarkisian said. “I want to make it 60 minutes of hell for our opponents.
"We have a roster that can do that, but that’s also a mentality that we’re striving for, that we’re working towards, and I think that we can get better at. That’s definitely a point of emphasis of ours as well.”
The Longhorns are now a legitimate contender for the national championship this season after making the playoffs last season. They are also in the mix for the SEC title despite playing only their first season in 2024.
Steve Sarkisian learning from the Notre Dame upset
With the current hype around Texas, Steve Sarkisian wants his team to be conscious. The upset Notre Dame suffered to Nothern Illinois in Week 2 is undoubtedly a wake-up call for the team.
“I walked them through the Notre Dame scenario of them going into College Station a week ago and winning that game and being anointed a top-five team and in the College Football Playoff and a week later losing to Northern Illinois,” Sarkisian said.
“So I showed that clip of the field goal. And I showed the chip of Northern Illinois storming the field this morning as a good reminder that we are entitled to nothing.”
Texas plays UTSA in Week 3 and hopes to maintain the winning momentum.
The team has a host of top opponents to face this season. After playing Michigan, the Longhorns face Georgia, Oklahoma and Texas A&M later in the season.
