Carde "Smitty" Smith, a four-star offensive tackle from Williamson High School, was at Folsom Field to see Deion Sanders' Colorado defeat the Cincinnati Bearcats 34-23 on Saturday. College football games are the best time to give top recruits experience on what it would be like when they'd don the jerseys.
Led by quarterback Shedeur Sanders and top Heisman candidate Travis Sanders, the Buffs put the screws early on, scoring double-digit points in both quarters of the first half. Colorado's defense also didn't allow Cincinnati to score at the same pace and rendered them scoreless in the third quarter.
Following the game, Smith, a Mobile, Alabama, native, took to X, letting his followers know that he enjoyed his time at Colorado.
"I enjoyed my time at Colorado this weekend Skobuffs 🦬" Smith tweeted.

As per On3, Carde Smith ranks No. 265 in the nation, 21st overall offensive tackle and No. 15 in his state, Alabama. As per the recruiting prediction of On3, the USC Trojans, who have received his pledge, lead with 68% in their recruitment chances.
They are followed by the Auburn Tigers, who have a 30.2% chance to land his commitment. Colorado is among 21 other programs that have less than a 1% chance to make Smith flip.
