The South Florida Bulls' football game against the Memphis Tigers, originally scheduled for Friday, has now been pushed back to Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET. The schedule change comes as Hurricane Milton continues to make its way toward the state of Florida.

The American Athletic Conference said Tuesday that while the 3:30 p.m. ET start time is currently public, it will monitor the conditions and developments of Hurricane Milton to see if the game needs to be rescheduled again; this includes a potential move to Sunday.

Preview: USF Looks To Keep Bowl-Eligibility Off Life Support

The Tigers (4-1) will march into Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, to try and claw their way to the 2024 College Football Playoff bubble against a Bulls team (2-3) that is trying to keep its bowl eligibility intact.

The Tigers are led by senior quarterback Seth Henigan, who has seven touchdowns and two interceptions. His 1,339 passing yards rank 30th in FBS and third in the AAC behind East Carolina's Jake Garcia (1,426) and North Texas' Chandler Morris (1,643).

Henigan's dynamic arm will be utilized to avoid their second AAC loss this season (Navy, 56-44) against a Bulls defense that looks worse every game.

The Bulls have allowed 32.8 points per game this year, including 40 or more points in three of their five games and 50 against Miami on Sept. 21. Memphis scored an average of 33.2 points per game.

If Memphis gets up early in the contest, it can transition to the ground game through senior running back Mario Anderson Jr. His 438 rushing yards and 76 attempts both rank fourth in the AAC.

While the Bulls' defense has been tough to watch, USF coach Alex Golech will still have some weapons to work with to try and keep his team's season alive.

The Bulls' passing game is led by the connection between junior quarterback Byron Brown and senior wide receiver Sean Atkins.

Atkins has 309 yards on the season, ranking seventh in the AAC. While Brown's 836 passing yards on the year seem underwhelming, he makes up for it with his legs - his 269 rushing yards rank third among quarterbacks in the ACC behind Navy's Blake Horvath (565) and Army's Bryson Daily (602).

If the Bulls want to win against the Tigers, they'll have to get themselves into a high-scoring shootout that results in some breaks going their way. That may be difficult with this game likely being played in unideal weather due to the hurricane.
