Shelomi Sanders attended the Colorado Buffaloes' Big 12 debut against Baylor on Saturday from Folsom Field. Deion Sanders' daughter posted a YouTube vlog to give fans her gameday perspective.
The recording begins with Shelomi and her mother, Pilar, preparing for the big event. However, the video's best moment is Shelomi's reaction during the game's final quarter, when the Buffs trailed the Bears 31-24.
"It's not looking too good," Sanders said.
Much to Shelomi's delight, her brother, Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders, completed a hail mary pass to LaJohntay Wester, which tied the game 31-31 and forced overtime.
Coach Prime's team won in overtime thanks to Travis Hunter's last-second tackle of Dominic Richardson. The crowd went crazy, and the Alabama A&M guard was a big part of the atmosphere. Shelomi celebrated the win with Shedeur on the field, repeatedly saying - "that's my brother" in the background.
Shelomi Sanders learns her ranking on Deion Sanders' favorite kids list
Before Saturday's game, Shelomi Sanders thought she held the top spot on her father's kid rankings chart. Coach Prime had other ideas. Shelomi sported a "favorite kid" t-shirt against Baylor, but her Hall of Fame dad dismissed her claim.
Deion wrote on Instagram,
"@shelomisanders thinks she’s #1 in my kids' rankings. I love you baby, but you’re NOT #1 right now. Your sister @deiondrasanders is because she just had her Lil Baby."
Coach Prime’s eldest recently welcomed her first child, Que, with fiancé, R&B star Jacquees. Another plus for Deiondra is that her son shares the same birthday as 'Prime Time' —August 9.
This is not the first time that Deion has joked about the rankings of his five children. Shelomi’s top billing was short-lived. She hopes to perform well for Alabama A&M in the upcoming college basketball season and regain her spot as Deion Sanders’ No.1 child.
