Malachi Moore was seen having an outburst during the Alabama Crimson Tide's loss to the Vanderbilt Commodores last weekend. During the final moments of the game, Moore was visibility worked up. He threw the mouthguard onto the floor and paced around the field as the Commodores were taking the knee to seal the victory.

To further add to this, Moore then walked off to where the officials were placing the ball for the next down and moved the ball. For this act, he and the Alabama defense were given a 15-yard penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct.

A couple of days have now passed since this incident, and this has given Moore time to reflect on what has clearly been an intense emotional reaction. He went on Tuesday's edition of 'The Next Round' to apologize for what he did on Saturday night.

"I just want to apologize again to my family and teammates … I take full accountability for that, letting my actions get the best of me, and it won’t happen again."

This was not the first time that he has apologized for what he did. On Monday, he wrote on social media:

"I was completely out of line. I let the emotions of the game get the best of me and put myself before the team. As a two-time captain and a fifth-year player, I understand the standard that we are expected to live up to at Alabama, and I failed to do so by acting in a selfish and unacceptable manner."

Moore will hope that fans will now move on from what he did in that one moment and focus on what he has done all season long.

The defensive back recorded 10 tackles in the game against Vanderbilt and has already had 33 tackles this season.

Alabama's coach Kalen DeBoer responds to the Malachi Moore incident

Moore is not the only one who has given his views on the incident from Saturday. Alabama coach Kalen DeBoer spoke about this incident on Monday to the media, where he put a positive spin on things:

"The guy pours everything into what he does ... Doesn't make it OK. We want to be first class in everything we do. There's a lot of guys who are very frustrated. The key is we turn that frustration into positive moving forward and make sure that we remember what we feel here tonight and remember that when we show up tomorrow and Tuesday and Wednesday, all season long. Malachi, I'm 100 percent confident he will do that."

As for any punishment that Moore may face for this incident, DeBoer said that he would not be facing any suspension. This means that he will be available for the Crimson Tide's next game against the South Carolina Gamecocks this weekend.
