The Atlanta Falcons are currently playing the New York Giants in a game that is the debut of former Washington Huskies quarterback Michael Penix Jr. However, another player on the Falcons roster has been able to make the headlines.

In the first half, Giants quarterback (for this week) Drew Lock's pass was intercepted by Jessie Bates. Bates would then return the ball to the endzone for a pick-six touchdown to give the Falcons the lead.

After scoring the touchdown, Bates would perform a celebration that was made iconic by a former player for the Atlanta Falcons.

Deion Sanders was with the Atlanta Falcons at the beginning of his NFL career. The Falcons drafted the current coach of the Colorado Buffaloes as the fifth pick of the 1989 NFL draft.

During the five years that he spent in Atlanta, he was able to slowly establish himself as one of the best cornerbacks in the league and a dangerous weapon on kickoff and punt returns.

When Sanders was able to find the endzone, not just with the Falcons but with the San Francisco 49ers and the Dallas Cowboys as well, he would dance. This has become known as the "Deion Shuffle."

Since Sanders, many have tried to do their version of this dance with mixed success. Bates is the latest player to do this.

Deion Sanders pays tribute to Rickey Henderson

Throughout his professional career, Deion Sanders was known for playing both football and baseball at the same time. While he was playing baseball, there was another player who was at the top of their game.

This was Rickey Henderson, who is generally seen as one of, if not the, best players ever to play the sport.

Unfortunately, Henderson passed away on Saturday, and Sanders posted the following tribute to him on Instagram:

"Rickey Henderson is my Baseball Hero! I wanted to play like he played, I wanted the patience at the plate he had & the understanding of the art of base stealing. He taught me so much and answered Every-time I called & he showed me love every time I seen him. Wow my Hero is gone. Wow!!! God please bless his family, comfort them and protect the hearts of his loved 1z. This hurts. In Jesus name Amen. #Prime."

Sanders would have never come close to the numbers that Henderson made in his long baseball career, even if he played the sport full-time.

However, his memory and contribution to the sport will forever be remembered.
