Coach Prime took to social media to campaign for ESPN analyst Louis Riddick after his interview with the New York Jets for the vacant General Manager opening on the team. The Colorado Buffaloes head coach was vocal in letting them know that Riddick was an intelligent and smart individual who could be a good fit for the Jets in the long run.
Coach Prime replied to a tweet by NFL insider Adam Schefter which talked about the New York Jets completing an interview with Louis Riddick. Deion Sanders urged the New York Jets to not mess up this opportunity. He also went on to heap praise on Louis Riddick and stated that he deserves a real chance given his experience and knowledge.
"Jets Please don't mess this up and I pray this was a real interview and not that other thang y'all do. This man deserves a REAL CHANCE! He is knowledge & Class personified!," Deion Sanders wrote.
Louis Riddick currently works as an analyst of NFL and College Football for ESPN and ABC. Before beginning his broadcasting journey in 2013, he worked in the administration department of the Philadelphia Eagles and the Washington Commanders.
According to reports, Riddick is the third candidate that the New York Jets have interviewed for the vacant GM position. They also had interviews with Ex-Atlanta Falcons GM Thomas Dimitroff and Ex-Tennessee Titans GM Jon Robinson.

Before becoming an analyst of the game, Riddick himself was a running back professionally. Coming out of high school, he committed to playing for the Pittsburgh Panthers in college in 1987. Riddick played three seasons as a running back and recorded a total of 174 rushing yards for his team.
Riddick then declared for the 1991 NFL Draft. He was drafted as the 248th overall pick by the San Francisco 49ers. During his NFL career, the former DB played for several teams before retiring in 1998. He then went on to become a pro scout for the Washington Commanders for four seasons before becoming the Director of Pro Personnel.
In 2008, Riddick was hired by the Eagles as a pro scout. Two years later in 2010, he received a promotion to become the team's Director of Pro Personnel. He held that position before shifting to the world of broadcasting in 2013.
