Deion Sanders Jr. was mighty impressed with the raw pace of Colorado's 22-year-old wide receiver Jimmy Horn Jr., who's been filling out for Travis Hunter, owing to his injury concerns. While Hunter played against the Cincinnati Bears in Colorado's 34-23 victory in Week 9, Coach Prime ensured that Jimmy got some playtime.
Horn Jr. recorded 78 yards on five receptions, but what impressed Sanders Jr. a.k.a. Bucky was his sprint, as he beat Cincinnati athletes with ease. Jimmy Horn's 40-time is 4.34 seconds. Bucky took to X to hype up the Florida native, saying:
"Jimmy literally looks like he’s floating when he’s running… bro’s acceleration is insane."
Jimmy was penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct for showing the peace sign to a Cincinnati defender as he ran toward the endzone. A flag was raised, and Horn Jr.'s touchdown didn't result in points.
Deion Sanders Jr. elevates Colorado football program to new heights
Deion Sanders’ eldest son is proving to be a game-changer for the Buffs. Bucky has made it big on his YouTube channel, “Well Off Media,” providing exclusive coverage of the Colorado Buffaloes football program.
Bucky’s channel delivers an insider view of the whims and fancies of the Sanders clan and Colorado’s football landscape in general. His efforts have helped boost Colorado’s presence on social media by 500% (as per INFLCR founder Jim Cavale).
Bucky is passionate about content creation, and he doesn’t stop there; he has built a strong fan connection through humble interactions, like meeting fans at the Colorado vs. Arizona game in Week 8.
A fan page on X even shared a clip of him greeting fans, commending his work in inspiring the Colorado faithful. Bucky’s response was pure gratitude:
“Y’all done changed my life. Forever grateful.”
Even Coach Prime celebrated Bucky’s influence with a touching post after Colorado’s Week 5 game. He said:
“This picture is so AWESOME to me because it embodies who we are and what this is all about! @deionsandersjr is the real SANDERS MVK. Most Valuable Kid. Love you Good ole Good ole. The other pics are just some fly pictures I thought you would like. #CoachPrime.”
Bucky captures every moment as the Buffaloes make successful strides this season under Coach Prime.
