Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes will take on the BYU Cougars in the 2024 Alamo Bowl showdown in a few hours. With Shedeur, Shilo and Travis Hunter preparing to declare for the 2025 NFL draft, this game will be the last time Coach Prime gets to coach these talented players.

Coach Prime's eldest son, Deion Sanders Jr., also known as 'Bucky,' shared a video on his YouTube channel called 'Well Off Media.' The video showcased the Colorado Buffaloes arriving in San Antonio, Texas, for the Alamo Bowl showdown.

During the first few minutes of the video, we see Deion Sanders Jr. asking freshman offensive tackle Jordan Seaton to choose between Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter. Seaton looked unimpressed with the question on video and went on to give a very unexpected answer.

"I choose myself," Jordan Seaton said. (TS- 1:20)

For the Colorado Buffaloes, this will be their first Bowl game appearance since the COVID-19 shortened 2020 season. After a 4-8 campaign last year in the Pac-12, Coach Prime elevated the team with several changes to the roster and the coaching staff in the offseason.

The Buffs were very close to competing for the Big 12 title this season. Unfortunately, their loss to the Kansas Jayhawks eliminated them from the conference championship race and a spot in the 12-team College Football Playoff.

Deion Sanders is not looking forward to final game with his sons

The Colorado vs BYU Alamo Bowl showdown is going to be the final time Coach Prime guides his sons on the field. Both Shedeur and Shilo decided to play in the Bowl game despite pending preparations for the 2025 NFL Draft.

Even 2024 Heisman champion Travis Hunter will be gearing up one last time for the Buffs against BYU.

Before the Alamo Bowl, Deion Sanders admitted that he was not ready to bid farewell to Shilo, Shedeur and Travis. He also revealed his uncertainty about handling the situation after the final whistle of the game.

"I've been trying to shy away from that moment because I knew the last home game, it was the last home game, but wasn't the last game," Coach Prime said. "But this is it... I got upset with Shedeur yesterday. I told him we've got 48 hours son, then this is all over ... I don't know how I'm going to handle it."
"I know Travis is going to trigger me because he always does. He's going to bring tears to my eyes. I don't look forward to it but I do because that means they're going to another level, another chapter of life, and they're going to soar."

Deion Sanders' comeback has been commendable after Colorado's 4-8 disappointment last season during his debut in Boulder. It will be interesting to see if he can cap this redemption arc off with an Alamo Bowl trophy in his cabinet.
